This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how NewCuts (“NewCuts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, retains, and discloses information in connection with NewCuts.com (the “Website”) and is referenced in the Terms of Use (“Terms”) as well and is intended to provide notice of NewCuts’ information practices, rather than constitute a separate contractual agreement requiring your assent.
1. Information You Provide
NewCuts may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email address, telephone number, business name, location, website or social media information, how you heard about NewCuts, and other information you choose to submit, whether prompted by us or not.
Salons and independent stylists applying to the Salon Partner Program (“the Program”) must provide current and accurate contact and business information through the Salon Partner Application (“Application”) in order for us to evaluate their Applications.
Providing this information does not guarantee acceptance into or participation in the Program.
Visitors are not required to create an account or provide their names, email addresses, or other contact information merely to browse or download the complimentary Consultation Images. NewCuts may also receive information that you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email, telephone, or other available communication methods. Information marked as required in the Application is needed to evaluate your submission; NewCuts may be unable to process an incomplete Application.
2. Website and Usage Information
NewCuts uses Netlify’s server-side Web Analytics to obtain information about Website activity, including page views and general usage and geographic trends, without placing analytics cookies in a visitor’s browser. Analytics reports made available to NewCuts are intended to be aggregated or non-identifying; this description does not mean that no technical information is processed or stored by third-party service providers (“providers”) in delivering the Website to you.
NewCuts also maintains an aggregate count of Consultation Image downloads that is not intended to identify individual visitors.
This information may be used to understand how visitors interact with the Website, improve the Website and its functionality, and evaluate interest in NewCuts services and content.
In operating, hosting, and securing the Website, NewCuts or its technology service providers may process and store technical information associated with requests, such as IP addresses, device or browser information, requested pages, and access times, to the extent these data are processed by the services actually used.
3. Telephone Calls
When you call 1-800-NEWCUTS, NewCuts or its service providers may collect, process, and store data associated with the call, such as the telephone number, date, time, duration, and general geographic information associated with the call. NewCuts does not record live telephone conversations. However, if our system is enabled for you to leave a voicemail message for us, the message and any information that you provide in it will be recorded and may be stored and retained for a reasonable period of time in order to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and for other business purposes.
NewCuts may use this information to understand consumer interest, evaluate and research geographic demand, improve its services, and support the development of the Program.
NewCuts may also use information you voluntarily provide during a call to respond to an inquiry and for other purposes described in this Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
Information collected by NewCuts may be used to operate and improve NewCuts.com, respond to inquiries, review Applications, understand consumer and salon interest, measure Website and Consultation Image activity, evaluate geographic demand, and support the development of NewCuts and the Program.
NewCuts may also use information for other business purposes, including but not limited to: operating, maintaining, and securing the Website; communicating with Salon Partner applicants and requesting or verifying Application information; detecting, investigating, or preventing suspected fraud, security incidents, unauthorized use of images or other Website content, data scraping or unauthorized data collection, or other actual or potential violations of the Terms; complying with its legal obligations; and establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
NewCuts does not currently sell personal information or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing or targeted advertising purposes.
Information may be shared with third-party service providers that help operate the Website, process Website submissions, provide analytics or other Website data, support telephone services, or perform other functions on behalf of NewCuts.
These services may include, but are not limited to: hosting, security, communications, Application or form processing, data storage, and back-up. Such providers may process information in connection with the services they perform, subject to applicable law and their contractual obligations to NewCuts.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, for compliance purposes, or when reasonably necessary to protect NewCuts, its users, or others.
NewCuts may also disclose information as reasonably necessary to respond to legal process, investigate suspected misconduct or security incidents, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. NewCuts does not currently use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising technologies, or tracking pixels to monitor visitors across unrelated websites. NewCuts uses Netlify’s server-side Web Analytics, which does not require analytics cookies or client-side analytics code. 7. Salon Partner Applications
Information submitted through the Salon Partner Application may be used to evaluate interest in the Program, communicate with and respond to applicants, understand geographic interest and market potential, and support the development of future participation opportunities.
NewCuts may request additional information, verify or correct submitted details, and contact applicants concerning Application evaluation or potential participation in the Program. Application-related communications are distinct from unrelated promotional emails or marketing messages, which will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
As provided in the Terms, submission of an Application does not guarantee acceptance into the Program or establish any license, partnership, franchise, agency, employment relationship, territory rights, exclusive territory, entitlement to referrals, participation rights, or other contractual relationship with NewCuts. Participation in the Program is subject to a separate written agreement with NewCuts.
8. Data Retention
NewCuts retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, evaluating and maintaining Salon Partner Applications, considering future opportunities, operating and protecting the Website, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting its legitimate business interests. Retention periods may vary by information type, purpose, and applicable law.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, NewCuts will take appropriate steps to delete, de-identify, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements and reasonable technical or operational limitations.

NewCuts is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and NewCuts does not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13).
Under the Terms, individuals must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to submit an Application or independently enter into a binding agreement through the Website.
If NewCuts learns that it has collected personal information from a child under thirteen (13) without any legally required parental consent, it will take appropriate steps to delete the information in accordance with applicable law.
